I’m going away, I’m just packing my bags
To be home all alone, killing my days
Seeing the birds catching their worms
And I hear them chirping
Sometimes I sit and go somewhere
And other times I sit and go nowhere
I thought I was content right here
But here’s now in the rear-view mirror
I came back today, unpacking my bags
To be home with you, laughing my days
I was sitting in a chair from up in the air
And I’ve got to tell you, this place is beautiful
I was alone with tons of strangers
Around me, talking to me
I’m so glad that I met them,
But to me, you’re still my true gem
